State level Surya Namaskar Competition will be organized by Gujarat State Yoga Board
State level Suryanamaskar competition will be organized by Gujarat State Yoga Board. Under which this competition will be held in Vadodara district according to different categories and age. In which village, municipality, Maha municipality ward level competition will be held on December 19, taluka, municipality and zone level competition will be held on December 23 and district and Maha municipality level competition will be held on December 26. While the state level competition will be held on December 30.
It is worth mentioning that this competition has been organized to promote and propagate yoga and to make people understand the importance of yoga. To participate in the competition online registration can be done on the website snc.gsyb.in till December 15.
The registration link for this competition has been launched today by Minister Harsh Sanghvi. The registration of this competition will be done online. The Surya Namaskar Maha Abhiyan competition will be held from today to December 31 from village to state level.
Minister Harsh Sanghvi said that yoga competitions will be organized in more than 20 thousand places in the entire state, in which prizes worth more than two crores will be given to the yoga contestants. On 1st January 2024, Surya Namaskar program will be organized at Modhera Surya Mandir along with the first sun ray of the new year.
Youth Services and Culture Minister Harsh Sanghvi, giving more details about this, said that yoga competition will be organized in more than 20 thousand places in the entire state and prizes worth more than 2 crores will be given to the yoga contestants. AD As part of this statewide Surya Namaskar Maha Abhiyan, Surya Namaskar competition has been organized across the state from December 6 to 31. In which the competition will be held at the state level starting from village/school/ward level. The registration of which will be done through online link. AD can register online from 6 to 12 December 2023 to participate in this competition. Village and Napa/Municipal ward level competition will be held on December 15, Taluka and Zone level competition on December 19, District and Municipal level competition on December 24 and State level competition on December 29.
૧૯૦ સ્થળોએ કાર્યક્રમોનું આયોજન
સ્પર્ધા પૂર્ણ થયા બાદ તા.૧-જાન્યુઆરી-૨૦૨૪ના દિવસે મોઢેરા-સૂર્ય મંદિર, મહેસાણા ખાતે ભગવાન સૂર્ય નારાયણની હાજરીમાં નવા વર્ષના પ્રથમ સૂર્યની કિરણ સાથે સૂર્ય નમસ્કાર દ્વારા સૂર્ય દેવતાની આરાધના કરતા રાજય કક્ષાના સૂર્ય નમસ્કાર કાર્યક્રમનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યુ છે. જેમાં રાજ્ય કક્ષાએ વિજેતા સ્પર્ધકોનો ભવ્ય સન્માન સમારોહ યોજવામા આવશે. એટલુ જ નહિ, તે જ દિવસે સમગ્ર રાજ્યમાં જિલ્લા/મહાનગરપાલિકા અને નગરપાલિકા કક્ષાએ પણ ૧૯૦ જેટલા સ્થળોએ કાર્યક્રમોનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યુ છે. જેમાં મોટી સંખ્યામાં નાગરિકો ભાગ લઇ નવા વર્ષના સૂર્યના કિરણને આવકારતા સૂર્ય દેવતાની આરાધના કરતા સૂર્ય નમસ્કાર કાર્યક્રમો યોજી તેમા જોડાશે.

Giving further information, the Minister said that the category of the competition has been divided into three parts according to age. In which citizens aged 9 to 18 years, 19 to 40 years and above 41 years can participate. In which category wise winners at Village/School/Ward level will get Rs 101 cash, Taluka/Municipality/Zone level winners will get Rs 1000 for one brother and one sister according to their age group and Rs 21000 for the first brother and first sister who will win at District and Municipal level. A cash prize of Rs 15000 will be given to the sister and Rs 11000 to the third brother and sister.
Giving more information, the minister said that the first winner brother and sister who will win at the state level will be given Rs 250000, the third brother and sister will be given Rs 175000 and the third brother and sister will be given Rs 100000. Apart from this, all the participants will be given a digital certificate. The Minister said that after the completion of the competition, a Surya Namaskar program has been organized on January 1, 2024 at Modhera-Surya Temple, Mehsana, worshiping the Sun God through Surya Namaskar with the first sun ray of the new year in the presence of Lord Surya Narayana. In which a grand felicitation ceremony will be held for the state level winners.
