Vikram Sarabhai Incentive Scheme 2023 (Vikram Sarabhai Incentive Scheme 2022-23) The Physics Research Laboratory is committed to inculcate scientific attitude and approach among students active at the highest level of education and research from school.

Key Features of the Scholarship


Vikas Scholarship is only for students from low income families studying in schools in rural areas.


A total of ten (10) scholarships will be awarded each year. Out of 10, at least 5 scholarships will be awarded to girls.


Who can apply?

Students studying in class 8 in rural areas of Gujarat whose total annual family income is less than 1.5 lakhs can apply.


Amount of scholarship admissible

For Class 10 Students: The scholarship will be awarded for two years which will be 30,000/- during Class 11 and 30,000/- during Class 12.

For Class 8 Students: Scholarship up to 1,00,000/-(Rupees One Lakh Only) will be received over a period of four years. [ 20,000/- in class 9, 20,000/- in class 10 and T30,000/- in class 11 and 30,000/- in class 12 if the student continues in science stream after class 10

વિક્રમ સારાભાઇ પ્રોત્સાહન શિષ્યવૃતિ યોજના 2022 વિશેષતાઓ

• વિકાસ શિષ્યવૃત્તિ ફક્ત ગ્રામીણ વિસ્તારની શાળાઓમાં અભ્યાસ કરતા ઓછી આવક ધરાવતા કુટુંબના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે છે.
• દર વર્ષે કુલ દસ (10) શિષ્યવૃત્તિ આપવામાં આવશે. 10 માંથી, ઓછામાં ઓછી 5 શિષ્યવૃત્તિઓ કન્યોઓને આપવામાં આવશે.
• અરજી ગુજરાતના ગ્રામીણ વિસ્તારોની શાળામાં ધોરણ 8 માં અભ્યાસ કરતા એવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ કરી શકશે કે જેમના કુટુંબની કુલ વાર્ષિક આવક 1.5 લાખથી ઓછી છે.
• [ માત્ર વર્ષ 2022-23 માટે, હાલમાં ધોરણ 10 માં અભ્યાસ કરતા અને આગામી વર્ષે વિજ્ઞાન પ્રવાહ લેવાનું આયોજન કરતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે વધારાની 10 શિષ્યવૃત્તિ ઉપલબ્ધ છે. જો પસંદગી થાય તો આ વિદ્યાર્થીઓને બે વર્ષ માટે શિષ્યવૃત્તિ આપવામાં આવશે જે ધોરણ 11 દરમિયાન ₹30,000/- અને ધોરણ 12 દરમિયાન ₹30,000/- હશે. ]
• પસંદગી પામેલા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ચાર વર્ષના સમયગાળામાં ₹1,00,000/- (માત્ર એક લાખ રૂપિયા) સુધીની શિષ્યવૃત્તિ પ્રાપ્ત થશે.
• [ ધોરણ 9 માં ₹20,000/-, ધોરણ 10 માં ₹20,000/- અને જો વિદ્યાર્થી ધોરણ 10 પછી વિજ્ઞાન પ્રવાહમાં અભ્યાસ ચાલુ રાખે તો ધોરણ 11 માં ₹30,000/- અને ધોરણ 12 માં ₹30,000/-. ]

Vikram Sarabhai Incentive Scheme 2022-23 Students from remote rural areas face financial hardships as well as lack of guidance and many other problems. Keeping this problem in mind, we have instituted ten scholarships in memory of our founder Mr. Vikram Sarabhai.


Objective of Vikram Sarabhai Scholarship


The objective of the Vikram Sarabhai Incentive Scheme Scholarship is to encourage and assist economically weaker students from rural areas of Gujarat to pursue higher education in science. The name of this scholarship is Vikram Sarabhai Incentive Yojana (Development Scholarship).

Application Process

The applicant has to register by filling the online form on the PRL VIKAS scholarship website. As part of the registration process, the student has to scan and upload the following documents.

ધોરણ 8 ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે: ચાર વર્ષના સમયગાળામાં 1,00,000/-(એક લાખ રૂપિયા) સુધીની શિષ્યવૃત્તિ પ્રાપ્ત થશે

વિક્રમ સારાભાઇ પ્રોત્સાહન યોજના માં ધોરણ 10 બાળકો ને કેટલી રકમ મળે છે?

ધોરણ 10 ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે: બે વર્ષ માટે શિષ્યવૃત્તિ આપવામાં આવશે જે ધોરણ 11 દરમિયાન 30,000/- અને ધોરણ 12 દરમિયાન 30,000/- હશે

Proof of Income: Income Certificate (issued by Tehsildar/ Revenue Officer (Mamalatdar)/ SDM/ Taluka Magistrate/ Collector/ DM/ ADM/ any equivalent officer. The certificate should clearly mention the total annual/ year income of the family.

Standard student certificate from school Class 7 mark sheet [Class 9 mark sheet in case of Class 10 students applying for scholarship.
